Ep 2. Episode 2

In Daybreak season 1 episode 2, we continue to follow the adventure of Josh, a high school student trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, as he navigates the dangerous streets of Glendale, California. After narrowly escaping death in the first episode, Josh teams up with Angelica, a 9th-grade pyromaniac and former member of the "Cheermazons", a group of high school cheerleaders, to find his missing girlfriend Sam.

The episode opens with Josh and Angelica breaking into the science lab at their high school to find a cure for Sam, who was bitten by a zombie in the previous episode. The two teenagers are interrupted by Principal Burr, who has transformed into a zombie himself. After a tense confrontation, Josh and Angelica manage to escape the school with the cure and continue their journey.

As they make their way through the streets, Josh and Angelica encounter a variety of threats and challenges, including the "Biomechanical Ghoulies", a group of zombie-like creatures who have been transformed by exposure to chemicals from a nearby power plant. The two heroes managed to fend off the ghoulies with the help of a flamethrower that Angelica acquired earlier in the episode.

Along the way, Josh and Angelica also encounter an eccentric man named Wesley, who claims to be the last surviving member of a secret government organization called the "Knights Templar". Wesley offers to help Josh and Angelica find Sam in exchange for their assistance in finding a mystical artifact that he believes will help save the world from the apocalypse.

As they venture deeper into the city, Josh and Angelica encounter a group of survivors living in a shopping mall. Led by a man named Turbo, the group has managed to survive by creating a self-sufficient community and forming alliances with other survivors. Turbo offers to help Josh and Angelica find Sam in exchange for the cure that they acquired from the high school lab.

The episode ends with Josh, Angelica, and Turbo's group teaming up to search for Sam in a dangerous section of the city known as "the Jocks' territory". As they enter this dangerous area, they encounter a gang of high school football players who have become ruthless warlords in the post-apocalyptic world.

Overall, Daybreak season 1 episode 2 presents a fast-paced and action-packed adventure as Josh and Angelica continue their search for Sam in a world filled with danger and uncertainty.
