The episode "Knock Knock" from season 1 of Detentionaire follows the story of Lee Ping, a high school student who has been wrongfully accused of pulling a major prank on his school. After being framed and sent to detention, Lee discovers that his situation is much bigger than he originally thought. In the previous episode, Lee and his team were able to decipher an important message on a key stolen from Barrage's office. The key led them to the underground tunnels beneath the school.
In this episode, Lee and his friends continue to explore the hidden tunnels underneath the school. They discover a room with several doors that are locked from the other side. Lee decides to use his athletic skills to climb up to a vent in the ceiling and see what is on the other side. While he is up there, he hears a voice coming from the other side of one of the doors. The voice is calling out a series of numbers, which Lee suspects may be a code.
Meanwhile, in detention, Barrage is growing more and more impatient waiting for Lee to return. He is convinced that Lee knows more than he is letting on about the prank from last year, and is determined to get the truth out of him. In order to coerce Lee into talking, Barrage has set up a series of tests involving physical endurance and pain tolerance. Lee is left bruised and battered, but refuses to give in to Barrage's demands.
Back in the tunnels, Lee and his friends continue to investigate the locked doors. They find that each door has a code, and they are able to quickly decipher the first one. Inside, they find a room filled with strange equipment and one of the mysterious masked figures that Lee has been seeing around the school. The figure quickly runs away, but not before leaving behind a small device.
As Lee studies the device, he realizes that it may hold the key to unraveling the mystery behind the prank from last year. The device seems to be a communication device, and Lee suspects that the voice he heard earlier may have been using it to communicate with someone else. He and his friends work quickly to try and crack the code, hoping to uncover more clues about what is really going on at their school.
As the episode comes to a close, Lee is still being held in detention. Barrage is about to administer another painful test, but just as he is about to do so, a knock comes at the door. It is Vice Principal Victoria, who tells Barrage that she needs to speak with Lee. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers wondering what Victoria wants to talk to Lee about and how it will affect his situation.
Overall, "Knock Knock" is an exciting episode of Detentionaire that continues to build on the mystery and intrigue that has been present throughout the series. With new clues and unexpected twists, this episode is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
