Ep 12. Master of the Djinni

Scrooge and the family are on the hunt for a magic lamp, which they believe could lead them to a long-lost treasure. Along the way, they encounter an ancient sorcerer named Dijon who also seeks the lamp. Dijon, with the help of his loyal but bumbling sidekick, flies ahead of Scrooge’s airship and finds the lamp first. When Scrooge and company catch up, they find Dijon has already unleashed a powerful genie from the lamp, but Dijon is unable to control the genie’s powers. The genie is able to transport Scrooge and company into his own magical world, where they must follow his rules, including a prohibition against lying. The genie gives Scrooge and the kids an ultimatum: win his game by completing three challenges or remain trapped in the magical world forever. The team must face a series of obstacles and challenges, including avoiding a life-sized board game with magical punishments for losing. Meanwhile, Dijon makes a deal with the least of two evils and betrays Scrooge, hoping to take the genie for himself. With Dijon using the genie’s powers to his own nefarious ends, the team must fight to stay alive and ultimately defeat Dijon in order to retrieve the lamp and uncover the treasure.
