Ep 2. Episode Two

In Episode Two of Eastsiders Season 1, series creator Kit Williamson continues to explore the complexities of modern relationships, sexuality, and identity in a poignant and humorous way. With this episode, we catch up with Cal (Williamson) and Thom (Van Hansis) as they try to figure out what the future holds for them after Cal's infidelity. As Cal tries to make amends and Thom tries to forgive, we see glimpses of what their relationship was like before the betrayal, which helps us understand why they're both so invested in trying to work things out.

Meanwhile, Jeremy (Matthew McKelligon) is also dealing with the fallout of his own infidelity as he tries to navigate his newfound interest in porn and his complicated relationship with Quincy (Stephen Guarino). Throughout the episode, we also get to know some of the other characters in the show a bit better, including Ian (John Halbach), who finds himself embroiled in a strange love triangle with a former lover and a new love interest, and Kathy (Constance Wu), a friend of Cal and Thom's who seems to have it all together but is secretly struggling with her own issues.

As always, the writing in Eastsiders is sharp and witty, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments that balance out the more serious themes of the show. The performances from the entire cast are superb, with each actor bringing a unique perspective and energy to their role that keeps the story moving forward in interesting and unexpected ways.

Overall, Episode Two of Eastsiders Season 1 is a strong continuation of the series' exploration of love, sex, and relationships in the modern world.
