In Family Guy season 7 episode 8, titled "Family Gay", the Griffin family decides to partake in a medical study to make some extra cash. However, things take an unexpected turn when they discover that the study involves Peter receiving electric shocks to his brain to make him smarter. The experiment ends up being a success, and Peter becomes a genius overnight.

Excited by his newfound intelligence, Peter decides to use his brainpower to become a Renaissance man. He learns multiple languages, takes up painting, and even becomes a skilled musician. However, his new persona doesn't sit well with his friends and family, who miss the fun-loving and lovably dumb Peter they know and love.

Meanwhile, Stewie struggles to come to terms with his sexuality when he develops a crush on another baby in his playgroup. After consulting a therapist, Stewie is convinced that he is gay and decides to come out to his family. However, things don't go as planned when Peter's new intellectual persona clashes with his son's newfound sexuality.

To make matters worse, Peter's new friend, Scott, turns out to be gay and he invites the Griffins to a "coming out" party. As the Griffins navigate their way through this new territory, they learn valuable lessons about acceptance, tolerance, and the importance of being true to oneself.

Overall, "Family Gay" is a hilarious and heartwarming episode that tackles some important issues while still delivering the laugh-out-loud humor that Family Guy is known and loved for.
