Jane and her husband had always lived a quiet and peaceful life in their suburban neighborhood. However, when a new family moves into the house next door, things take a turn for the worse. The new neighbor, Rick, seems friendly at first, but tensions quickly rise as he starts to make excessive noise and inappropriate advances towards Jane. Despite her attempts to reason with him, Rick's behavior only becomes more erratic and threatening.
As tensions between the neighbors escalate, both parties begin enlisting the help of their friends and family. Jane's son, Kevin, and Rick's brother, John, become particularly involved in the dispute, each taking sides and fueling the flames of the conflict. Soon, the situation becomes a full-blown neighborhood feud with both sides determined to make life miserable for the other.
Things come to a head one night when a heated argument between Rick and Kevin turns violent, leading to a physical altercation that leaves both parties injured. The police are called, and the situation is finally brought to a resolution, but not before the neighborhood is left shaken and divided.
