Meanwhile, Takuto and Meroko decide to investigate the stolen artwork and find the thieves. They discover that the thieves are actually a group of old men who stole the art as a way to relive their youth. Takuto convinces them to return the artwork without harming anyone, and they agree.

In the end, the saint's stone turns out to be just a regular stone, but Mitsuki learns a valuable lesson about the importance of staying true to oneself and not sacrificing what is truly important for temporary gain.
