Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations is a fantasy driven original video animation series filled with action, drama and adventure. This anime features a band of individuals, who journey together through thick and thin. They travel through various dimensions to pursue their destiny. During their journey, they face many challenges. When faced with them, the group puts it all on the line to protect and fight for each other. This is a constant theme that the group faces while traveling through distant, desolate, and ravished lands and is an obstacle that they are prepared to encounter. Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations is an extension of another anime series. Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations is anime series that was inspired by Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. The plot line of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles starts off with a main character, Syaoran, meeting with a dimensional witch called Yuko Itchihara. The witch casts a spell on Syaoran that sends him on a journey back and forth through time to different universes. The story line of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles eventually comes to an end and is the precursor to the beginning of Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations. Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations starts with Syaoran and friends ultimately landing in Tokyo. Upon arrival, they find themselves standing in a unfamiliar city. Syaoran and his band of adventurers find themselves in the middle of a city that is completely destroyed. Tokyo had succumb to a serious downfall that was all but a mystery to him and his friends. This reality leaves the group with no other choice but to pick their way through this post apocalyptic Tokyo that they find themselves in. While traveling through the city, the group runs into a variety of surprises but one stand-out surprise that Syaoran is faced with is discovering an evil clone of himself. Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations was animated by Production I.G and licensed by Funimation Entertainment. It was released between November 16, 2007 and March 17, 2008 across three DVDs.
