Full Moon wo Sagashite Season 1 Episode 14 Good Luck! Acting Manager
- July 6, 2002
As Mitsuki's debut draws closer, her recording company decides to replace her current manager due to his lack of experience. Overwhelmed with the task of finding a new manager, Mitsuki turns to her two friends, Izumi and Meroko, for help.
Izumi suggests that they search for a talented manager at the upcoming talent show and everyone agrees to check it out. At the show, they meet a young man named Yoneya, who impresses them with his quick thinking and confidence. Mitsuki decides to ask Yoneya to be her new manager and he happily agrees.
However, Yoneya's relaxed and unprofessional attitude quickly becomes problematic. He sleeps on the job, doesn't take the rehearsals seriously, and even shows up to a photo shoot wearing a sweatsuit. Mitsuki tries to encourage him to be more responsible, but he brushes off her concerns.
As they get closer to the live debut, Mitsuki becomes increasingly anxious about Yoneya's management skills and worries that everything will go wrong. When a technical issue arises during the sound check, it seems like her fears have come true. However, Yoneya unexpectedly springs into action and saves the day with his quick thinking.
Mitsuki realizes that despite his flaws, Yoneya truly cares about her success and is willing to do whatever it takes to make her debut a success. She thanks him for his hard work and dedication, and they all celebrate the successful debut together.
Ultimately, the episode is about the power of trust and the importance of having a support system. Mitsuki is able to accomplish her goals with the help of her friends and her new manager, despite the obstacles they face along the way.
