Ep 8. Lost on the Subway

Game Shakers season 1 episode 8 "Lost on the Subway" sees the crew of the titular game development company on a mission to retrieve Hudson's lost backpack. Triple G (Benjamin Flores Jr.) discovers a group of musicians and joins them in an impromptu jam session. Meanwhile, Kenzie and Hudson scour every corner of the subway car in search of the backpack.

Their search eventually leads them to an elderly woman who has mistaken the backpack for her own. After a brief confrontation, the woman reveals that she had no idea the backpack wasn't hers and hands it over to Hudson. The group heaves a sigh of relief and prepares to head back to their office for their all-important deadline.

Just as they're about to deboard the subway, they realize they're on the wrong train. They rush back onto the train they just left, but in their hurried state, they fail to notice that this train is headed in the opposite direction. They ride the train to the end of the line and find themselves stranded in an unfamiliar part of the city.

Without any cell service underground, the team is unable to call for help. To make matters worse, Hudson's mood cocoon is destroyed in the struggle to retrieve the backpack, leaving him even more distraught than before. The team huddles together and tries to come up with a plan to make their way back to their office.

Their luck takes a turn for the better when they meet a friendly stranger who offers to help them navigate the city's public transportation system. With their new guide's help, the team navigates their way back to their office just in time for the deadline. In the end, they learn an important lesson about perseverance and the importance of teamwork.

"Lost on the Subway" is a fun and lighthearted episode that showcases the Game Shakers team's resourcefulness and resilience. It's a great example of the show's sense of humor and its ability to balance wacky mayhem with heartfelt moments of friendship and teamwork.
