Glasslip is a Japanese animation series produced by anime studio P.A. Works and aired on Tokyo MX in 2014. The show follows the life of a group of high school students who are trying to figure out what they want to do with their lives. There are six main characters in the show - Fukami Touko, Yanagi Takayama, Okikura Kakeru, Mizusaka Sachi, Nagamiya Yukinari, and Hiro Shirosaki - who all attend the same school and live in the same small town.

The main character of the show is Touko, who is a very artistic person and loves to draw. She is also very passionate about glassblowing, and her dream is to become a glass artist. Touko lives with her parents and her younger sister in a small café that they run together. Her family is very supportive of her artistic aspirations but they also want her to focus on her studies and think about her future.

The story of Glasslip starts when a new transfer student, Kakeru, arrives in town. He is a mysterious boy who tends to keep to himself, but he also has a strong interest in Touko and her glassblowing. The two of them become friends and start spending more time together. As they get to know each other better, Kakeru reveals that he has the ability to see glimpses of the future in his dreams.

Meanwhile, Touko's best friends, Yanagi and Sachi, are dealing with their own issues. Yanagi is in love with Touko but has never been able to express her feelings to her. Sachi is struggling with her family's expectations of her and is feeling lost about what she wants to do with her life.

The show explores the relationships between these characters as they navigate their way through high school and figure out what they want to do after graduation. There is a sense of tension in the air as the characters struggle to cope with the changes and uncertainties that come with growing up.

The animation and visuals in Glasslip are stunning, with beautiful scenery and impressive character designs. The soundtrack is also quite good, with emotional and moving music that adds to the drama of the show. Overall, the show has a very dreamy and ethereal feel to it, which suits the themes of the story very well.

One thing that sets Glasslip apart from other anime shows is its focus on glassblowing. The show incorporates a lot of information about the art form and how it works, which gives viewers a deeper appreciation for the skill and beauty of glassblowing.

In terms of voice acting, the show features some of the best talent in the industry. Saori Hayami does an excellent job as Touko, bringing a lot of emotion and depth to her character. Daiki Yamashita is also great as Kakeru, adding a sense of mystery and intrigue to the role. Atsuko Tanaka shines as Yanagi's mother, bringing a lot of strength and authority to the character.

Overall, Glasslip is a beautiful and emotional anime that explores the themes of friendship, love, and growing up. The show is well-written, well-animated, and well-acted, making it a must-watch for anyone interested in anime.
