Ep 6. Attack of the Mutant, Pt. 1

In "Attack of the Mutant, Pt. 1," we join comic book enthusiast Skipper Matthews as he eagerly anticipates the release of the latest edition of his favorite comic, The Masked Mutant. When he finally gets his hands on the coveted issue, he's disappointed to find out that it's nothing like previous installments. Rather than continuing the story, it seems like The Masked Mutant has disappeared altogether.

Determined to solve the mystery, Skipper heads to the comic book store to confront the owner, who tells him about the rumored existence of a secret Masked Mutant comic that only the most dedicated fans can find. Armed with this new information, Skipper scours the city in search of the elusive comic, even sneaking into the publisher's headquarters dressed as a janitor.

As his search intensifies, Skipper begins to notice strange occurrences happening around him – a sinister figure lurking in the shadows, objects moving on their own, and even the appearance of mutant-like creatures straight out of the comic book pages. Soon, he finds himself caught up in a dangerous game of cat and mouse, with the boundaries between fantasy and reality becoming increasingly blurred.

As the episode comes to a close, a group of superheroes materializes in front of Skipper, revealing that they are part of a secret society dedicated to stopping The Masked Mutant and his evil plans. But it seems like their help may have come too late, as Skipper finds himself confronting his nemesis face to face, with no way out but to face the consequences of his obsession.
