Green Frontier delves into environmental issues as the story progresses. The jungle is threatened by gold mining and the production of coca leaves. Yua, who is a member of an indigenous tribe, is concerned about the harm that humans are causing to the environment. She also believes that her tribe knows how to protect the jungle and its resources better than anybody else.

Throughout the show, the characters face both physical and spiritual challenges as they investigate these deaths. They encounter mystical elements of the culture and religion of the indigenous people. This adds a supernatural aspect to the show, which keeps the audience on their toes.

The creators of the show did an excellent job in highlighting the diversity of the characters. Yua is a proud indigenous woman who is aware of her cultural heritage and fights to protect it. Meanwhile, other characters such as Stella (Bruna González) and Pedro Alvarez (Nelson Camayo) are Colombians with roots elsewhere. Stella is a journalist trying to uncover the truth about her father's death, while Pedro is a law enforcement official who struggles with his conscience and his duties.

The cinematography and sound design of the show are noteworthy. The jungle is breathtakingly and hauntingly beautiful, with its vibrant greens and earthy browns contrasted by its shadowy and murky depths. The score and sound effects add to the unsettling atmosphere and reinforce the mystical elements of the Amazonian jungle.

One of the weaknesses of Green Frontier is its pacing. Some may find the first episode slow, while others may feel let down by the resolution of the series. The show does have an open-ended conclusion, which may leave some viewers unsatisfied.
