Guy's All-American Road Trip is a gastronomical adventure in which celebrity chef Guy Fieri journeys around the country in his red Camaro SS, discovering new and interesting places to eat while accompanied by his friends in the food industry. From the market, it's time to get cooking! Fieri, Irvine and Symon head to the breathtaking vineyard property of Don and Donna Schafer for some wine and culinary shenanigans. Donna's kitchen in the pastoral setting is perfect for the little competition that the chefs are all excited to have. All three chefs get to work in the open-air kitchen, with a grill, preparing a feast.
The cooking competition is frenetic and truly exhilarating, with each chef trying to outdo the other in creating the best dish from the ingredients gathered at the farmer's market. Fieri whips up Mouthwatering lamb chops with Italian relish, while Symon is in his element with his specially created herb and butter sauce to go alongside his lamb chops. Irvine creates a herb marinated and grilled white shrimp recipe with toppings of his own. The judges while taking their time appreciate what each chef has brought to the table. The trio shows their passion for cooking, fun camaraderie, and love for great food.
As they enjoy the fruits of their labor, Fieri, Irvine, and Symon swap stories and share their passion for food. Each discussion accompanied by a sip of wine taking in the beauty of vineyard, setting sun and enjoyable conversation. They reminisce about the respect that great ingredients deserve and how important it is to get out there and experiment with dishes that stretch the imagination.
