The show is set in Barcelona during the 1960s and follows Helena (Hache) who is a woman forced to enter the world of drug trafficking in order to survive. The show is named after the protagonist, Hache, played by Adriana Ugarte. At the start of the series, Hache is a young woman who has just arrived in Barcelona with her young daughter.
