Ep 2. Hannah Montana to the Principal's Office

In Season 4 Episode 2 of Hannah Montana, titled "Hannah Montana to the Principal's Office," Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus) finds herself in trouble when she accidentally leaves her phone in the school library and it gets found by the school principal. The phone's wallpaper features Miley's alter ego, Hannah Montana. As a result, Miley must go to the principal's office to retrieve her phone and explain the situation.

Once in the principal's office, Miley concocts a story about the phone belonging to her cousin who is a big fan of Hannah Montana. However, the principal doesn't believe Miley's story and accuses her of skipping class and being a bad role model. Miley becomes frustrated and wants to defend herself but realizes that she can't reveal her secret identity as Hannah Montana. To make matters worse, Miley's best friend Lilly (played by Emily Osment) accidentally walks into the principal's office and also gets blamed for Miley's actions.

As Miley and Lilly try to figure out a way to get out of trouble without revealing Miley's secret, they eventually come up with a plan to perform a charity concert at the school to make up for their behavior. The principal agrees to this as long as Miley and Lilly don't skip any more classes and show that they are responsible students.

Throughout the episode, Miley struggles with balancing her life as Hannah Montana and her life as Miley Stewart. She realizes that it's becoming harder and harder to keep her secret, and as a result, she begins to contemplate revealing her true identity to her friends and family.

Meanwhile, Jackson (played by Jason Earles), Miley's older brother, is dealing with his own issues. He is hired by his nemesis Rico (played by Moises Arias) to work at Rico's new juice bar, but quickly realizes that Rico is taking advantage of him and not paying him fairly. Jackson decides to stand up for himself and quit his job, but not before teaching Rico a valuable lesson about treating employees fairly.

In the end, Miley and Lilly's charity concert is a success and they are able to make up for their misbehavior. Miley continues to struggle with the challenges of keeping her secret, but ultimately decides to keep her alter ego a secret for a little while longer.
