Heart of Greed is a Hong Kong drama that follows the lives of the wealthy Wong family. In the first episode of the series, titled "Episode 1", viewers are introduced to the patriarch of the family, Wong Yim-fong (played by Ha Yu), who is a successful businessman. He is highly respected in the community and is often regarded as an influential figure in Hong Kong. Sheung-shan is a successful businesswoman in her own right and is married to the flamboyant businessman Chai Kau (played by Moses Chan). Sau-kam is a housewife who is often bullied by her husband, Leung Foon (played by Lee Kwok-lun). Siu-fung is portrayed as a materialistic individual who cares more about money and status than her family.

We also see that the Wong family is preparing for the upcoming wedding of Tze-kwan. The wedding is set to be a grand affair and is being planned by Siu-fung. However, tensions rise between Siu-fung and her siblings as they disagree with her extravagant spending.

Meanwhile, a young woman named Ling Dak-sum (played by Linda Chung) is introduced. Ling Dak-sum is from a poor family and works a low-paying job to support her family. She meets Wong Tze-keung by chance and the two develop a connection. Ling Dak-sum is kind-hearted and has a strong sense of morality, which is a refreshing change from the selfishness displayed by the Wong family.

As the episode progresses, tensions within the Wong family continue to rise. Chow Lai-mui becomes increasingly hostile towards Tze-keung and his siblings, and it becomes clear that she is determined to ensure that her son, Tze-kwan, inherits the family business. Ling Dak-sum's presence also sets off a chain of events that will have a significant impact on the Wong family's dynamics.

Overall, the first episode of Heart of Greed sets the stage for what will be a dramatic and emotional series. It introduces viewers to the main players in the Wong family and sets up a number of conflicts that will no doubt cause tension throughout the rest of the show.
