Watch Higurashi No Naku Koro

Higurashi No Naku Koro is an animated series that was first released in 2009. The series is set in a peaceful village where a group of children spend their time with several different card and board games. However, things change when a couple of children go missing during the holiday celebrations. Things get even worse when one of the children turns up murdered. This results in the children having to investigate the matter in order to see what is really going on. They end up discovering that the elders of the village sacrifice children in order to save their community.
