Ep 1. Where Were We?

Ted Mosby and his friends Lily, Marshall, Barney and Robin are back for the second season of How I Met Your Mother, and in the premiere episode, "Where Were We?," things pick up right where they left off at the end of season one.

With Marshall and Lily's wedding plans postponed indefinitely after Lily left Marshall at the altar to pursue her dream of being an artist in San Francisco, the gang is left to pick up the pieces and figure out what comes next.

Ted, still mourning his recent breakup with his girlfriend Robin, is determined to move on and find "the one," but finds himself struggling to get over her - especially when he runs into her on the street and realizes that he still has strong feelings for her.

Meanwhile, Barney is up to his old tricks, using his smooth-talking ways to try and pick up as many women as possible, and Marshall is wallowing in his own self-pity, wondering where he went wrong in his relationship with Lily.

As the gang confronts these issues and tries to move forward, they also face new challenges and obstacles, both individually and as a group. Whether it's navigating the dating scene in New York City, dealing with the aftermath of a failed engagement, or trying to balance work, friendship, and love, Ted, Robin, Barney, Lily, and Marshall are in for a wild ride in season two of How I Met Your Mother.

Filled with the same mix of humor, heart, and nostalgia that made season one such a hit, "Where Were We?" sets the stage for a new chapter in the lives of these beloved characters, as they navigate the ups and downs of life and love in the Big Apple.
