However, his enthusiasm is dampened when Robin tells him that the potential employer he's been gunning for is also interviewing her. In order to help Barney's chances, Ted volunteers to sabotage Robin's interview by pretending to be a terrible candidate, but the plan backfires when Robin sees through his ministrations and confronts him.
Meanwhile, Lily and Marshall are anxiously awaiting the birth of their child and have been trying to come up with the perfect middle name.
