Ep 2. Episode 2

In the second episode of Humans season 1, the audience is introduced to a new character named Laura Hawkins. At the same time, we are introduced to the Hawkins family's neighbors, the synthophobic Drummond family. Joe Drummond is a worker at a Synth factory but despises their existence, believing that they are stealing jobs and taking over the world. His wife, Laura, is also wary of Synths and forbids their teenage daughter to have one, much to her frustration.

As the episode progresses, tensions rise between the Hawkins and Drummond families, leading to a confrontation between Laura and Joe. Their disagreement sparks a heated debate about the ethics and morality of Synths, with each character defending their perspective passionately.

Overall, episode two of Humans season one continues to explore the complex relationships between humans and machines.
