Ep 5. Do it, Monkey

In the fifth episode of the first season of Hung, titled "Do it, Monkey," we find Ray struggling with his newfound role as a gigolo. Early in the episode, he meets with his business partner Tanya to discuss the recent downturn in business, and they both agree that they need to make some changes if they want to continue making money.

As the episode progresses, we see Ray and Tanya both struggling to find their place in the world. Ray is dealing with the fact that he's been reduced to selling his body to make ends meet, while Tanya is grappling with the reality that her ex-husband wants to profit off of their failed marriage.

Despite all of this, Ray and Tanya manage to come up with a plan to turn their business around. They decide to start marketing themselves as a package deal, with Ray as the gigolo and Tanya as the life coach. It's a risky move, but it seems to pay off. They start attracting more clients, including some of the more well-to-do women in town.

Overall, "Do it, Monkey" is a thought-provoking episode that delves into some of the deeper issues surrounding the gigolo lifestyle. It shows us that even those who have seemingly found success in this line of work can still struggle with their self-worth and their place in the world. But it also demonstrates that with a little creativity and hard work, even the most downtrodden can find a way to succeed.
