Ep 9. Dean, Tony, Lisa

Dean, Tony, and Lisa are the focus of this episode of I Survived...Beyond and Back. Each of them describes their personal experiences of facing death, and what happened to them when they crossed over to the other side.

Dean was on a hunting trip when he was struck by lightning. He describes the pain of being hit, and the sensation of leaving his body. He finds himself suddenly at the gates of heaven, where he is greeted by angels who give him a tour of the place. He is reunited with his mother, who had passed away years ago, and is shown a glimpse of what awaits him if he chooses to stay in heaven.

Tony was a firefighter who was trapped in a burning building when the floor collapsed beneath him. He describes feeling like he was drowning in smoke, and the intense heat as he fell through the building. He awakens in a hospital room, where he is visited by a group of spirit guides who help him make sense of his experience. He learns that his life has a greater purpose, and that he was meant to survive that day for a reason.

Lisa was driving home from a party when she was hit head-on by another car. She describes the moment of impact, and the feeling of being ejected from her body. She suddenly finds herself in a beautiful meadow, where she is greeted by a group of loved ones who had passed away before her. She is shown a glimpse of her future, and what would happen to her family if she chose to stay in the afterlife.

As each survivor tells their story, we see reenactments of their experiences, along with interviews with friends and family members who were affected by their close brushes with death. The episode offers a thought-provoking look at what happens after we die, and the different paths that await us on the other side. It is a poignant reminder of the fragility of life, and the importance of cherishing every moment we have.
