In the ninth episode of season one of ID: INVADED, titled "Inside-outed," the story picks up where the previous episode left off. After solving the root cause of John Walker's descent into madness, Narihisago and Hondomachi are back in the real world, trying to pick up the pieces of their lives. While Narihisago is trying to come to terms with his daughter's death, Hondomachi is struggling to cope with the aftershocks of her encounter with John Walker's mind.

It's in the midst of this emotional turmoil that they both receive a message from Chief Hayaseura, calling them back to the Wellside. There, they're introduced to a new team of detectives who are working on a case that has some disturbing similarities to John Walker's murders. The victim is a woman named Muku Hoshino, who was found dead in her apartment with her organs removed. The most unsettling part of the crime scene is a strange symbol that's been carved into her chest.

As they start investigating the case, Narihisago and Hondomachi realize that Muku's murder bears uncanny similarities to the case they were working on before John Walker's case. The symbol on Muku's chest is eerily similar to the one that appeared on the walls of Challenger's crime scene. As they dig deeper, they uncover a connection between the two cases: both Muku and Challenger had enrolled in a particular website that had recently gone viral. The website was basically an online matchmaking service that paired people up based on their personality tests. However, it was notorious for being extremely accurate in its predictions and was, therefore, attracting a large number of subscribers.

Narihisago and Hondomachi decide to enroll in the website themselves to investigate further. They're matched up with each other, and the accuracy of the profile is astonishing. However, things start getting weird when they log out of the website. Both Narihisago and Hondomachi experience strange hallucinations that seem to be rooted in their past traumas. At the same time, a mysterious figure named "The Planner" starts communicating with them through the website.

The Planner reveals that he's been using the website as a front for his twisted plans. He's been using his access to the subscribers' deepest fears and desires to insert himself into their lives and manipulate them. Muku was one of his victims, and he confirms that Challenger was too. He explains that the symbol on Muku's chest is a representation of a concept called "inside-outing," where one's inner desires and fears are brought to the forefront and manifest in the physical world. The Planner claims to be able to control this process and create his own warped reality where he's the ultimate god.

Narihisago and Hondomachi realize that their own fears and traumas have been unleashed by The Planner's machinations. They're forced to confront their darkest selves and fight to overcome their own demons. As they navigate through this twisted maze of reality, they have to rely on their wits and instincts to bring an end to The Planner's plans. Moreover, they must comprehend and solve the question of how The Planner, a virtual entity, was able to exert such a real-world influence on seemingly random people.

Overall, the ninth episode of ID: INVADED season one, titled "Inside-outed," is a gripping and compelling exploration of the human psyche. It delves into the themes of trauma, manipulation, and how technology can be used to exploit our deepest desires and fears. The episode's plot is full of unexpected twists and turns, and the viewer is kept on the edge of their seat until the very end.
