Panic strikes when Kathy and another forest guard go missing in the forest during a routine night patrol. Sathya, Irfan, Rishi and Ayyanar desperately search for them. They find a phone video footage that reveals Kathy being abducted by the Vanaratchi. Rishi

Sathya and Irfan try to track down poachers who conduct illegal activities in the forest. Rishi and team investigate the murder of a tea factory owner. This time, they manage to find physical evidence at the crime scene. A few forest guards find several camera traps deliberately broken and damaged in the forest. When Sathya plays the latest video captured by a night vision camera, the footage reveals a horrifying sight. While the villagers hold an urgent panchayat meeting regarding the Vanaratchi murders, Rishi and his team arrest a suspect and question her.

Faria worries about Sathya and Irfan going for work in the forest while the fear of Vanaratchi is spreading rampantly in the village. Irfan tells her not to heed to baseless gossip. Chitra advises Ayyanar to get along with Rishi and focus on solving the case. But Ayyanar ends up having a clash of opinions with Rishi regarding supernatural incidents and the existence of Vanatarchi.
