The Ghost takes over the ice cream stand and uses its ice cream to create an army of ice cream monsters. Jimmy decides he won't let a ghost haunt his city, so he and his friends create a machine that can capture ghosts. The ghost eventually captures the Ghost of Raccoon Rivers, but they face another ghost named the Ghost of Vinnie Two Fingers. The trio soon discovers that using the machine to catch ghosts powers it up, and the Ghost of Vinnie can over-power the machine, which leads to even more troubles. The gang works together to stop the ghost and fix their mistake before Miseryville is destroyed.
