Ep 22. I Am Jimmy / Happy Birthday, Lucius

Jimmy Two-Shoes season 1 episode 22 includes two different tales. The first one is titled "I Am Jimmy" where we see Jimmy accidentally getting turned into a fly copycat. He is so amazed and pleased with his newfound powers, that he completely loses sight of his own identity. He ends up wreaking havoc all over Miseryville, completely oblivious to the damage he is causing. In this episode, we see Jimmy learning a valuable lesson about staying true to himself, even if he thinks he can be someone else.

In the second tale titled "Happy Birthday, Lucius," We see the character Lucius turn another year older. However, the town doesn't seem to be very interested in celebrating the occasion. It's not until Jimmy steps in and tries to organize a big event, that things start to look up. Jimmy tries everything he can to plan the perfect birthday bash for Lucius- but things don't go exactly as planned. The episode demonstrates how one person's perspective on a situation can be completely different from another's. By the end, we see Jimmy learn that sometimes you just can't please everyone.

Overall, the episode is entertaining and insightful. We see some of the key lessons of the show being reinforced- such as the importance of staying true to oneself, and how sometimes the best laid plans can still go awry. Fans of the series will enjoy seeing some of their favorite characters interact in a new light while newcomers will be introduced to the quirky and zany world of Miseryville.
