In this episode, the team led by Johan Falk is tasked with investigating a massive robbery, considered as the mother of all heists. A gang has not only looted a truck carrying a precious cargo worth millions, but they have also taken hostages and killed a security guard.

With time running out and the perpetrators still at large, Falk and his team must work tirelessly to uncover the identities of the robbers and bring them to justice. Falk's team gets a lead on the robbers when they spot a van that was used to escape the crime scene. They pursue the van and manage to arrest one of the robbers, a young man named Sebastian who is willingly and eagerly ready to cooperate with the authorities in exchange for witness protection.

As Sebastian provides valuable information regarding the robbery, he also reveals that the mastermind behind the heist is a woman and one he refers to as a mother. The team deduces that this woman is none other than the sister of the infamous Serbian mobster Radovan, who was shot dead in the earlier episodes.

Meanwhile, the robbers have moved the stolen goods and hostages to their hideout. The leader of the gang, a woman named Vera, decides to send a message to the authorities by releasing one of the hostages with a note demanding a ransom. Falk and his team work out a plan to get the ransom money while also preparing a raid on the hideout.

As the events come to a head, tensions rise, and the stakes are high. Will Falk and his team be able to rescue the remaining hostages and capture the robbers? Who is Vera, the mastermind behind the heist, and what is her connection to Radovan's family?
