The show Junk Gypsies follows Amie Sikes and Jolie Sikes, two sisters from Texas who have turned their passion for vintage and junk into a successful business. In each episode, they travel around the country in their "Gypsyville" truck, searching for relics and treasures they can refurbish and sell.

In season 1 episode 1, titled "Home on the Range," the sisters are commissioned to decorate a ranch house in Bandera, Texas. The challenge is to create a rustic and organic look while still incorporating the owners' love of turquoise and pink.

The episode starts with Amie and Jolie on the road, discussing their excitement for the project. They stop at a flea market along the way, where they find a vintage cow skull and a collection of turquoise jewelry. These items will later be incorporated into the house's decor.

When they arrive at the ranch, they meet the owners, a couple with three children and a passion for horses. The sisters take a tour of the property and note the beautiful landscape and the potential for outdoor living areas.

The first step in the decorating process is painting the inside of the house. Amie and Jolie choose a soft, taupe color for the walls, which they believe will complement the turquoise accents. They also paint the pantry door in a bright pink shade, fulfilling the owners' request for a pop of color.

Next, the sisters update the dining room's chandelier, which they found at a flea market. They replace the old glass shades with new turquoise ones, and the owners love the result.

Another challenge is the living room's fireplace, which the owners want to be the focal point of the space. Amie and Jolie decide to create a custom mantel using reclaimed wood. They also add a vintage rug in shades of pink and turquoise, tying together the room's colors.

The sisters take advantage of the ranch's space outside and set up a cozy outdoor living area. They use a mix of vintage and modern furniture, including a turquoise Adirondack chair and a rustic wooden bench.

Before completing the project, Amie and Jolie meet with the owners to show them the finished product. The owners are thrilled with their new home's rustic and organic look, and they love how Amie and Jolie incorporated their favorite colors. They especially appreciate the outdoor living area, which they believe will be perfect for family gatherings.

In the end, Amie and Jolie leave the ranch feeling satisfied with their work. They note how much they enjoyed working with the owners and how rewarding it was to create a space that the whole family can enjoy.
