Ep 11. Marcus Luttrell's Study Makeover

On the eleventh episode of Junk Gypsies season 3, the team takes on a special project for retired Navy SEAL and author Marcus Luttrell. Marcus is looking to give his study a makeover and turn it into a space that reflects his personality and inspires him to write his next book.

The Junk Gypsies, Amie and Jolie, start by touring Marcus's study and getting a feel for what he wants. Marcus tells them that he wants the space to be more masculine and streamlined, with plenty of storage for his books and mementos. He also wants to incorporate some of his military memorabilia, like his Navy SEAL trident and his Medal of Honor.

The Gypsies get to work, starting by painting the walls a bold navy blue to give the room a strong, masculine feel. They also replace the old, outdated light fixture with a new, modern one that provides plenty of light for reading and writing.

Next, they tackle the storage problem by building custom bookshelves around the room. These shelves are not only functional, but they also add an industrial, masculine look to the space.
