Watch Kaikan Phase

Kaikan Phrase is Japanese anime based off a manga of the same name that follows the life and times of a band's success. Guitarist Yuki and drummer Santa decide to form a new band after their old one breaks up. They are true musicians and believe that once they find some more members they will have a chance to make some amazing music. The start the audition process and find guitarist Atsuro and base player Towa.

The story starts to pick up when the band looks for the front man of their band.
Sakuya is a man with an amazing voice, dripping with charisma and oozing sex appeal but is reluctant to join the band that is so desperate to have him.
He changes his mind after an audition with the band leaves him emotionally spent and with feelings of belonging to something bigger than himself.

The band struggles for fame and fortune is fought with personal issues such as family acceptance, dark pasts, and romantic relationships. Sakuya will be the center of love issues when he starts to fall for Aine, the girl who writes the lyrics for their songs.
