Kekkaishi Season 1 Episode 8 Yoshimori-like Days

Yoshimori is feeling down lately. Ever since he failed to defeat the ayakashi that attacked Karasumori, he's been feeling like a failure. Tokine tries to cheer him up, but he's just not himself. He's not even interested in his beloved kendo practice.

But one day, while Yoshimori is patrolling the land of Karasumori, he comes across a lost little girl. Immediately, he picks her up and starts looking for her family. He sets off across the land, asking around for anyone who might know her. But as the day wears on and he can't seem to find anyone who knows her, Yoshimori starts getting worried. What if he can't find her family? What if she's all alone?

As the sun begins to set, Yoshimori gets desperate. He's been searching for hours, and still no one knows this little girl. But as he wanders through the forest, he suddenly comes face-to-face with a group of ayakashi. Yoshimori knows he's no match for them, but he's not about to let them take this little girl. He fights hard, using every trick he knows.

Just when it seems like the ayakashi have the upper hand, Tokine appears. She's been watching his back, and she's brought backup - a squad of Kekkaishi to help take down the ayakashi. Yoshimori is grateful for her help, but he's also embarrassed. He feels like he's failed as a Kekkaishi.

Later that night, Yoshimori reflects on the day's events. He'd been so focused on finding the little girl's family that he didn't even realize he was being followed by ayakashi. He's not sure he's cut out to be a Kekkaishi. But then he remembers something his grandfather told him - that being a Kekkaishi isn't just about fighting ayakashi. It's also about protecting people. And that's exactly what Yoshimori did today.

Feeling a renewed sense of purpose, Yoshimori decides to take up kendo practice again. He's not going to let one failure get him down. He's going to keep working hard and protecting people. Because that's what it means to be a Kekkaishi.
