Ep 14. I Remember Mono

Hank Hill is a propane and propane accessory salesman living in the fictional town of Arlen, Texas. In season 2 episode 14, titled "I Remember Mono," Hank discovers that he had mono as a teenager from his old football jacket. He becomes paranoid that Peggy, his wife, may have contracted the virus from him and starts to obsess over keeping his family and friends away from Peggy in fear of spreading the infection. Hank's protective and controlling behavior leads to tension in his relationships with Peggy, his friend Dale, and even Bobby, his son.

Meanwhile, Bobby is dealing with a different kind of virus himself- the school's computer virus. He is tasked with helping the school's computer expert, Bill, fix the problem before it's too late. However, Bobby's attempts to help only lead to bigger issues.

As Hank's paranoia builds, he seeks out medical advice from an unlikely source- his neighbor and conspiracy theorist Dale. Dale's unconventional methods and theories only add to Hank's anxiety, causing him to become more obsessed with keeping Peggy isolated from others. Eventually, Hank's behavior causes Peggy to become fed up and she takes matters into her own hands to prove that she is not sick.

"I Remember Mono" delves into the consequences of Hank's controlling behavior and the importance of trust in relationships. It also humorously touches on topics such as teenage illnesses, conspiracy theories, and computer viruses.
