When Hank and Bobby are left alone for the weekend, they decide to remodel the garage into a bachelor pad for Hank. Meanwhile, Peggy invites her friend and realtor, Frankie, over to show her a house that she's interested in selling. However, Frankie mistakenly thinks that Peggy is interested in buying the house for herself and starts showing her the luxurious amenities of the house. Peggy doesn't correct her and ends up falling in love with the house.
As Hank and Bobby work on the garage, they realize that the project is a lot more difficult than they anticipated. They end up making a mess of the garage and causing several mishaps along the way. While they struggle to make progress on the renovation, Hank receives a call from Peggy telling him about the house she fell in love with.
Hank is hesitant to move into a new house, as he's attached to his current home and the memories it holds. But Peggy is determined to make the move and convinces him to at least check out the house. When they arrive at the house, they're blown away by its beauty and luxurious features. Peggy is ecstatic about the possibility of living in such a grand home, but Hank is still hesitant.
Meanwhile, Bobby invites his friends over to see the garage renovation. They're impressed by the progress Hank and Bobby have made, but quickly realize that the space isn't big enough for all of them to hang out comfortably. They suggest that they move the party to the new house that Peggy wants to buy. Bobby and his friends arrive at the house and start exploring every inch of it, causing chaos and damage along the way.
As the party gets out of hand, Peggy starts to see that the house isn't as perfect as she initially thought. She also realizes that she was only interested in the house because of how it made her feel, not because it was the right decision for her and Hank. Hank eventually agrees to move into the new house with Peggy, but only if they make necessary renovations to make it their own.
In the end, Hank and Bobby are happy with the new garage and Peggy learns a valuable lesson about the dangers of chasing after superficial happiness. The episode ends with the family settling into their new home, ready to make new memories.
