In King Of The Hill season 4 episode 4, entitled "Little Horrors of Shop," viewers are treated to a typically off-beat adventure for the Hill family.

The episode opens with Hank and his friends at Strickland Propane, where they are excitedly discussing a new propane tank design that could revolutionize the industry. In the midst of their discussion, they receive a call from Peggy, who tells them that Bobby has been sent home from class for making obscene gestures.

Concerned, Hank rushes home to investigate and finds out that Bobby's art teacher has been showing the class horror movies in an effort to inspire their creativity. This has had the opposite effect on Bobby, however, who has become increasingly anxious and prone to acting out. Peggy blames the horror movies for his behavior and demands that something be done.

Hank decides to confront the art teacher, a young woman named Ms. Wakefield, but is surprised to find that she is a beautiful and charming woman whom he instantly finds himself attracted to. Despite her obvious charisma, Hank remains staunchly against the idea of showing horror movies in an art class and demands that Bobby be excused from watching them.

Ms. Wakefield initially rebuffs Hank's concerns, telling him that she believes the horror movies are a valuable tool for teaching her students to confront their fears. However, convinced of the harm they may be doing to his son, Hank continues to challenge her, even going so far as to show up at the school and demand that she stop showing the movies.

As the conflict between Hank and Ms. Wakefield intensifies, Peggy becomes more and more involved, even going so far as to stage a protest outside the school alongside other concerned mothers. Despite their efforts, however, the school board refuses to intervene, and the art class continues to show horror movies.

Eventually, Hank comes up with a plan to expose Ms. Wakefield's methods and turn the school board against her. He enlists Bobby's help to create a sculpture that embodies his fears, which he presents to the school board at a public meeting. The board is so impressed with the sculpture that they decide to exhibit it in the school for all to see - but Hank has a trick up his sleeve.

He secretly switches the sculpture with a fake when no one is looking, revealing the true horror of the situation: that Ms. Wakefield's methods are not producing art, but terror. Exposed, Ms. Wakefield is forced to leave the school, and the art class returns to a more traditional curriculum.

Throughout the episode, viewers are treated to the usual King Of The Hill mix of charm, humor, and heart. From Peggy's attempts to organize a protest to the surreal imagery of Bobby's nightmare sculpture, "Little Horrors of Shop" delivers the kind of quirky, distinctive storytelling that fans of the show have come to love.
