Bobby Hill has always been a lovable character, but as he grows up, he finds himself struggling to fit in with his peers. In "The Miseducation of Bobby Hill," the seventeenth episode of the seventh season of King of the Hill, Bobby finds himself caught between two worlds: the world of his family and the world of his friends.

As the episode begins, Bobby's friends invite him to a church youth group event. Bobby is hesitant to go, but when he sees that Connie is planning to go, he decides to go along. However, once he gets there, he quickly realizes that he has made a mistake. The youth group is full of strange, hyper-religious kids who are obsessed with Jesus and are convinced that the end of the world is near. Bobby doesn't know how to react to this, and feels out of place.

Meanwhile, back at home, Bobby's parents are dealing with their own issues. Hank is trying to teach Bobby a lesson about responsibility by making him take care of a batch of beer that he is brewing in the garage. Bobby is excited about this at first, but things quickly go wrong when he accidentally drops a bottle of beer, breaking it. Bobby tries to hide the evidence of his mistake, but Hank eventually finds out and is disappointed in him.

As the two storylines unfold, we see a clear contrast between Bobby's family life and his life with his friends. Bobby's parents are practical and down-to-earth, while his friends are involved in a world of fantasy and paranoia. The episode does a good job of highlighting the tension that exists between these two worlds, and how it affects Bobby.

As the episode progresses, Bobby becomes increasingly disillusioned with the church youth group. He finds that the other kids are overly judgmental and intolerant, and he doesn't like the way they treat him. However, he is still drawn to the group, as it provides him with a sense of belonging that he can't find anywhere else. Eventually, though, Bobby has to make a choice between his family and his friends.

Overall, "The Miseducation of Bobby Hill" is a solid episode of King of the Hill that explores some interesting themes about growing up and finding your place in the world. The show has always been good at depicting the complexities of family life, and this episode is no exception. While it may not be as funny as some of the show's other episodes, it is still well-written and engaging, and definitely worth a watch.
