Steve Carell, Chris Russo, Chris Elliott, and Band of Horses were the guests on the 28th episode of the 15th season of Late Show with David Letterman. The episode was filmed at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City and aired on CBS on January 16, 2008.

They also talked about Elliott's current work, including his role in the movie "The Heartbreak Kid" and his appearance in the TV show "How I Met Your Mother".
The musical guest of the night was Band of Horses. The indie rock band from Seattle performed their song "Is There a Ghost" from their album "Cease to Begin". The song was well received by the audience, and Letterman complimented the band on their performance.
