In Love Island season 2 episode 12, the islanders are still dealing with the aftermath of the latest recoupling. Wes seems smitten with Megan, despite her rocky past with co-star Eyal. But Eyal isn't ready to give up on Megan just yet, and seems to be trying to win her back.

Meanwhile, Laura and Jack are still going strong, but Dani worries that the couple may be getting too comfortable and not putting in enough effort to keep the spark alive. She shares her concerns with Jack, who promises to step up his game.

Newcomer Idris shakes things up on the island, catching the attention of both Kaz and Laura. Kaz seems especially interested in Idris, but is hesitant to make a move as she doesn't want to end things with Josh just yet.

The couples are also faced with a challenge, as they are asked to write love letters to their partners. Some islanders struggle with expressing their feelings, while others pour their hearts out on paper.

Later, the islanders are surprised with a visit from loved ones, which brings joy and tears to the villa. The moment also provides an opportunity for the islanders to reflect on their journey and how they've grown since entering the villa.
