Jack and Dani survived the dumping and are back in the villa feeling optimistic about their future together. However, they soon receive a text announcing that they will be taking part in a baby-themed challenge. The other islanders speculate whether or not this means a parenting challenge is in store for them.
Meanwhile, Alex and Alexandra are still trying to build their relationship, but the cracks are starting to show. Alexandra is feeling ignored by Alex, who seems to be more invested in getting to know the new girls, Laura and Stephanie. Laura, on the other hand, seems to be interested in Wes, who she has been getting to know better over the past few days.
The challenge begins with the islanders receiving dolls that are programmed to cry at random intervals throughout the day and night. Each couple is tasked with taking care of their baby, with the winner being the couple who can keep their baby quiet for the longest amount of time. The challenge proves to be difficult for some of the couples, with arguments breaking out over who is doing more work.
As the day progresses, Laura and Stephanie continue to stir things up in the villa. Laura takes Wes aside for a chat, but his girlfriend Megan is not happy about it. Megan confronts Laura, accusing her of trying to steal Wes from her. Wes tries to mediate the situation, but tensions remain high between the girls.
As night falls, the crying babies make it difficult for the islanders to get any sleep. Alex becomes frustrated with what he sees as Alexandra's lack of effort in taking care of their baby, leading to an argument between the couple. Meanwhile, Josh and Kaz manage to keep their baby quiet for the longest amount of time, winning the challenge and some time alone in the Hideaway.
The next day, the islanders receive a text announcing that two new boys will be entering the villa that evening. The girls speculate about who the new boys could be, with the potential for more drama and heartbreak on the horizon.
As the day goes on, Laura continues to pursue Wes, despite his attempts to remain loyal to Megan. Jack, who has become increasingly frustrated with Laura's behavior, confronts her about her intentions towards Wes. Laura denies any wrongdoing, but Jack's warning seems to hit home.
The new boys, Paul and Josh, finally arrive in the villa, causing a stir among the girls. Paul sets his sights on Laura, while Josh takes an immediate interest in Kaz. The islanders are quick to size up the new boys, with some feeling threatened by their arrival, while others are excited at the prospect of getting to know them better.
As the episode draws to a close, the islanders head to bed wondering what the new boys will bring to the villa. The stage is set for more drama, romance, and heartbreak in the upcoming episodes of Love Island season 3.
