Ep 2. Southwark

Southwark forms one of the oldest parts of London and fronts the River Thames to the north. We visit Southwark Cathedral where it is said to have been a church since AD606. We delve into Borough market showcasing the diverse speciality food. We tour the Golden Hinde, a full sized replica of the 16th century ship that Sir Frances Drake used to circumnavigate the globe between 1577 and 1580.
