Masters of Illusion is one of the most sought-after magic shows on television. The show is hosted by Dean Cain, and throughout the show’s duration, he presents some of the most mind-boggling illusions as performed by some of the world's most incredible magicians. The show's fifth season reaches new heights with the fifth episode named Twisted Classics. It features some of the world's most impressive and legendary tricks that magicians have ever performed on stage.

As with previous episodes, the show opens with a magnificent performance, this time by illusionist Greg Gleason. Greg's act starts with three boxes stacked on top of each other. He covers each one with a sheet, then proceeds to push his hand through the boxes' apparently solid sides. As if that's not enough, he also walks through the solid boxes and comes out of the front box unscathed. Indeed, this is a fantastic display of illusionary magic that sets the tone for the entire episode.

The next magician is Eric Jones. Eric's act consists of four metal rings that are interlocked together. He then proceeds to pass two separate and blunt objects through the rings, essentially making them twirl, but never altering their arrangement. His act is proof that with the correct measure of misdirection and practice, seemingly impossible feats are very achievable.

Another magician in this episode is Rick Smith Jr. Rick's act involves throwing several cards into a watermelon which is laid upon a person's stomach. This performance is not only remarkable but also dangerous, requiring an inordinate amount of skill and precision. It is a feat that is sure to leave the audience amazed.

Chipper Lowell's performance is a sublime display of sheer comedic talent. Chipper is not your typical magician. He incorporates comedy into his act while still performing some impressive illusions. His act features a Pogo stick. While riding the Pogo stick, he manages to catch a card as it appears out of thin air. His act is a hilarious and entertaining addition to the show.

Magician Ed Alonzo offers an incredible and challenging act that leaves the judges in awe. Ed does a trick that requires a great deal of skillful handwork and accurate timing. He uses a single sheet of paper to cover a person's head while taking off one of their shoes. Ed then covers the person's head once again, but this time, he puts the shoe back on without the person even realizing it. He pulls off this magic trick with such ease, it's hard to imagine how he pulls it off.

The episode ends with an explosive act by Kelly McDonald. Kelly is a well-known magician who has performed on several magic shows for many years, and for good reason. She uses fire to her advantage to perform an act that is both daring and unforgettable. Her act is not for the faint of heart because Kelly rests her feet on two separate blades, which are laid upon gasoline-filled drums. She then proceeds to escape the precarious situation by lighting the drums and sliding out of the way just in the nick of time.

In conclusion, Masters of Illusion season 5 episode 5 – Twisted Classics – is a testimony to the incredible power of illusionary magic. The episode features some of the best magicians in the world. Each magician offers a unique act that leaves the viewers eagerly anticipating what will happen next. From the opening act to the final act of the show, the magicians work together to offer some of the most mind-boggling illusions of all time. Magicians have been known to bend the rules of reality, and in this episode, they do just that, repeatedly. Overall, the show provides entertainment of the highest caliber and is sure to leave audiences spellbound.
