Allison Dubois, a married mother of three, is a medium with the ability to communicate with the dead. In the sixth season of Medium, Allison struggles to balance her family life with her job as a consultant for the District Attorney's office in Phoenix, Arizona.

In episode 2, titled "Who's That Girl?", Allison is thrown into a case involving a missing woman named Rachel who disappeared after going to a party. As Allison helps the DA's office with the investigation, she begins to see and hear Rachel's spirit, who is desperately trying to communicate with her.

The episode begins with Allison at her home, preparing for her day. Her husband Joe (Jake Weber) is getting their daughters ready for school while Allison drinks her coffee and reads the newspaper. Suddenly, she feels a chill and shivers. It's a sign that she's about to have a psychic vision.

Allison sees Rachel walking alone on a dark street, looking scared and lost. She feels a strong urge to find the missing woman and help solve the case. She shares her vision with her supervisor, DA Manuel Devalos (Miguel Sandoval), who agrees to involve her in the investigation.

With the help of her colleague, Detective Lee Scanlon (David Cubitt), Allison starts piecing together Rachel's last moments. As she interviews Rachel's friends and family, she realizes that the missing woman had been hiding a secret life as a go-go dancer.

Allison's visions of Rachel become more intense and vivid as the case progresses, and she begins to experience overwhelming emotions. She feels Rachel's fear, pain, and sadness as if they were her own. Rachel's spirit visits Allison in her dreams and tries to tell her something important, but the message is muddled and unclear.

Meanwhile, Allison's personal life is not going well. Her teenage daughter Ariel (Sofia Vassilieva) is acting out and skipping school, which puts a strain on their relationship. Joe is busy with his work as an aerospace engineer and is unable to provide much support for Allison's psychic abilities.

As Allison delves deeper into Rachel's disappearance, she discovers a network of shady characters who might be involved in the case. She faces danger and pursues difficult leads, all while trying to stay connected with her family.

In the end, Allison uses her psychic abilities to solve the case and find out the truth about Rachel's disappearance. Her visions of Rachel lead her to the missing woman's body, and she is able to identify the killer. While the case is resolved, Allison is left emotionally drained and conflicted.

"Who's That Girl?" is a gripping episode that showcases both the strengths and weaknesses of Medium. The mix of crime procedural with supernatural elements is a trademark of the show, and the talented cast brings depth and nuance to their roles. The episode's exploration of Allison's emotional state and personal struggles adds depth to the character and makes her more relatable to audiences.
