Become a rally pro in no time with this crash course in the terminology, rules, and courses of the World Rally Championship. From the series' wild beginnings to its legendary moments, this is requisite knowledge for any fan of the spectacular races.

5. In the driver's seat

Mike gets to drive a WRC car with a reluctant Elfyn Evans as co-driver. What could possibly go wrong? Elfyn gives some invaluable help that makes things go a lot more smoothly than they might otherwise have, and Mike has a brilliant time.

4. Putting it all together

Mike joins Elfyn Evans at Wales Rally GB and co-drives for Elfyn in the shakedown stage. Feeling the pressure, Mike must consolidate everything he's learned about communicating instructions to the driver.

3. Scaling it up

Mike goes into a real rally set-up with Elfyn Evans to put his co-driving lessons into practice. Will his hard work pay off or will his new-found skills desert him in the ever-changing conditions of high-speed racing?

2. Testing new skills

Mike is joined by Elfyn Evans to test his new-found co-driving skills out on the road - first at a gentle learner's pace, then at the considerably more challenging rally speed where he finds out it's not as easy as it might look.

Join Mike as he enjoys a tour of the M-Sport factory with Team Principal Malcolm Wilson OBE. Then he learns about the complexities of a co-driving with Daniel Barritt, from the mathematics of planning to navigating racing circuits.
