Minute to Win It season 1 episode 27, titled "America's Heroes," features veterans and first responders competing in various games for a chance to win up to $250,000. Hosted by Guy Fieri, the episode begins with a heartwarming tribute to the dedication and sacrifice of these heroes.

The first game is called "Junk in the Trunk," where the players have to empty a tissue box filled with ping pong balls attached to their waist. This game requires a lot of shaking and moving, and the contestants have a minute to get all the balls out of the box. The veterans and first responders show off their skills and determination, with some finishing the game with ease while others struggle.

The second game is "Penny Hose," where the players have to put on pantyhose with a tennis ball in one of the feet and move the ball to the other foot. The challenge is to do it without using their hands. This seems like an easy task, but it proves to be quite difficult as they struggle to maneuver the ball with their feet. The players have to keep going until they get the ball out of the pantyhose in under a minute.

Next up is the game "Candelier," where the players have to use a stick to pick up a candle and carry it across the room to a candleholder, without the candle falling off the stick. This game requires a lot of focus and balance, and the contestants do their best to keep the candle steady while making their way to the candleholder. Some make it look easy, while others struggle and drop the candle.

The fourth game is called "Through the Wringer," where the players have to roll a tennis ball through a paper towel tube and knock down a pyramid of plastic cups on the other side. This game requires precision and accuracy, and the contestants have to aim just right to knock down all the cups. Some players take their time, while others rush through the game in an attempt to get all the cups down in under a minute.

The final game of the night is "Stack Attack," where the players have to stack six cans in a pyramid shape and then take them back down again. This game requires speed and agility, as the players have to stack and unstack the cans in under a minute. Some players have trouble getting the cans to balance just right, while others breeze through the game with ease.

Throughout the episode, the contestants share their stories of service and sacrifice, and Guy Fieri honors their bravery and dedication. The episode is filled with moments of laughter and excitement as the contestants battle it out for a chance to win the grand prize. In the end, only one player will emerge victorious and take home the title of champion of Minute to Win It season 1 episode 27, "America's Heroes."
