Ep 2. Read the Room

Mob Psycho 100 is a Japanese anime series that follows the life of a young boy named Shigeo Kageyama, who is also known as "Mob" due to his emotionless nature, as he tries to navigate the complexities of adolescence while also dealing with his psychic powers.

Meanwhile, another psychic named Koyama is introduced, who works for a shady organization called Claw, and is tasked with finding and capturing powerful espers like Mob. Koyama is shown to be ruthless and seemingly invincible, which sets up a potential confrontation between him and Mob in future episodes.

Back at the haunted house, Mob and Reigen's plan backfires as they accidentally release a real spirit, which possesses the young girl. Mob tries to exorcise the spirit, but his powers are not strong enough, and he ends up getting possessed himself. This leads to a tense and emotional moment where Mob's brother, Ritsu, has to step in and use his own psychic powers to save Mob and exorcise the spirit.

The episode ends with Mob reflecting on his powers and questioning whether or not he should use them for personal gain, like Reigen, or for the good of others. He realizes that he does not have all the answers and decides to continue learning and growing as a person and a psychic.

Overall, "Read the Room" is a great follow-up to the first episode and continues to explore the complex themes of the series, such as morality, power, and the importance of empathy.
