Shigeo Kageyama or Mob is a high school boy who has psychic powers. He has the ability to move objects with his mind and achieve various other psychic feats. In season 2 episode 6, Poor, Lonely, Whitey, Mob continues to navigate his teenage life while dealing with his own inner struggles.

The episode opens with Mob being assigned to work with Teru, another psychic, to help solve a mystery about a cult that has been brainwashing people. The two of them are reluctant to work together, but they eventually put their differences aside and start investigating. Along the way, they meet a man named Mezato who is trying to uncover the truth about the cult. Mezato reveals that he too has psychic powers, but he has been suppressing them because he is afraid of what he may become if he embraces them fully.

Meanwhile, Mob is struggling with his own emotions. He feels lonely and isolated, despite his powerful psychic abilities. He is also grappling with feelings of guilt about how he has used his powers in the past. He remembers an incident where he accidentally hurt his friend, and he can't shake the feeling that he has done more harm than good with his abilities. These feelings are made worse by the fact that he is unable to fully connect with others because of his powers. He is afraid that he will never be able to have a normal life.

As Mob and Teru continue to investigate the cult, they discover that they are being watched by a mysterious figure. This figure turns out to be a powerful psychic named White T Poison, who has been brainwashing people to gain followers for his cause. White T Poison challenges Mob to a psychic battle, and Mob reluctantly agrees. During the battle, Mob manages to gain the upper hand, but he stops short of defeating White T Poison when he sees the pain and loneliness that the other psychic is feeling. Mob realizes that he and White T Poison are not so different, and he decides to show mercy.

At the end of the episode, Mob and Teru successfully bring the cult to justice, but Mob is left questioning his own ability to connect with others. He recognizes that his psychic powers make his life more complicated, but he is unsure of how to move forward. However, he is comforted by the fact that he has made a new friend in Teru and that he has helped others through his powers.
