Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Season 1 Episode 8 The Form of Closeness

Mikazuki and his team, Orga, Biscuit, and Eugene, make their way to a desert location to meet with Naze and his group, the Turbines. The Turbines are a group of space pirates who have an agreement with Tekkadan to use their ships for transportation and protection.

As they arrive, they find that Naze has been captured by a rival group of pirates, the Brewers. Orga and the Tekkadan team step in to help Naze's subordinate, Amida, rescue their leader. In exchange for their help, Naze offers to provide valuable information and assistance to Tekkadan in their mission to escort Kudelia to Earth.

Meanwhile, Kudelia continues her journey to Earth, but her entourage is attacked by the Brewers. Mikazuki is dispatched to aid them, and in the process, he comes face to face with the fighter pilot, Lafter. Despite their initial hostility towards each other, they establish a mutual understanding and respect for one another.

Back at the Turbines' base, Tekkadan is preparing for their mission to escort Kudelia when Naze offers to take them to a nearby facility where they can obtain valuable resources. However, their visit is cut short when a surprise attack by the Brewers occurs. The Tekkadan team was able to fend off most of the attackers, but many of the Turbines were injured in the process.

In the aftermath, Naze informs Orga that he plans to retire and wants to make Amida the new captain of the Turbines. He also offers her hand in marriage to Orga as a sign of their alliance, but Orga respectfully declines.

As the episode comes to a close, Mikazuki reflects on the events that occurred and the people he's met along the way. He realizes that as the Iron-Blooded Orphans, they may not have a place in this world, but they will continue to fight for their own happiness and the happiness of those around them.
