Ep 5. I Will Dare

In season 2 episode 5 of One Tree Hill titled "I Will Dare," the story opens with Brooke tired of Lucas and Peyton dating and decides to form her own friendship with Haley. While Brooke is trying to get Haley to loosen up and have fun at a party she throws, Lucas is working on a project with Keith. Keith is helping Lucas restore his classic car, and as they work together, Keith tries to help Lucas understand Dan's point of view.

Elsewhere, Nathan is trying to win back Haley's affection by skipping basketball practice to join her at Brooke's party. This decision doesn't sit well with Coach Whitey, who is concerned about Nathan's basketball performance and future.

In addition, the audience is introduced to Felix, a new student at Tree Hill High, who has a contentious and rocky history with Mouth. Felix also seems to be interested in Brooke and sets his sights on becoming part of her inner circle.

The episode takes a surprising turn when Haley decides to take Brooke up on her challenge to have some fun during "Dare Night" and sets off a chain of events that will have lasting consequences for the characters of One Tree Hill.

Throughout the episode, there are several high stakes dares performed by various characters culminating with Brooke taking on a dare that could change the course of her friendship with Peyton forever.

As "Dare Night" comes to a close, all the characters find themselves reeling from the events of the evening. Brooke must face the fallout from her biggest dare yet, Nathan realizes the depth of his connection to Haley, and Lucas is forced to confront the truth about his feelings for Peyton.
