Ep 16. Phineas and Ferb Get Busted! (Parts 1 & 2)

Phineas and Ferb is an animated television show that follows the adventures of two stepbrothers during their summer vacation. The show is set in the fictional town of Danville, where the two boys are constantly coming up with new and exciting projects to keep themselves busy. In season 1 episode 16, titled Phineas and Ferb Get Busted! (Parts 1 & 2), the duo finds themselves in a bit of trouble with the law.

The episode begins with Phineas and Ferb waking up one morning and excitedly announcing their new project for the day. However, their older sister Candace overhears and is determined to finally catch them in the act and show their mother what they have been up to all summer. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz is attempting to steal all of the cheese in the city in order to fuel his latest invention, the "Cheese-inator". However, his plan is thwarted by Perry the Platypus, who is undercover as his pet.

As the day progresses, Candace continues to try and catch her brothers in the act, but each time she comes close, something goes wrong and she ends up looking foolish. Eventually, the boys finish their project, which turns out to be a massive rollercoaster that runs through the city. However, just as they are about to test it out, the police arrive and arrest the boys for endangering the public.

The second part of the episode follows Phineas and Ferb as they are taken to the courthouse to stand trial. The boys plead not guilty, claiming that their rollercoaster was completely safe and that they never intended to harm anyone. Despite this, the judge finds them guilty and sentences them to spend the rest of the summer in jail.

While in jail, Phineas and Ferb befriend some of the inmates and begin to come up with new projects to keep themselves busy. They build a giant rocket out of garbage and launch it into space, much to the amazement of the other inmates.

Meanwhile, Candace continues to try and prove to her mother that her brothers are up to no good, but every time she tries to show her evidence, it is either destroyed or goes missing. Perry the Platypus also makes an appearance, helping to stop Dr. Doofenshmirtz from carrying out his latest scheme.

Eventually, Candace manages to get the evidence she needs and rushes to the courthouse to clear her brothers' names. She arrives just in time to stop the warden from moving them to a maximum-security prison and presents her evidence to the judge. After reviewing the evidence, the judge realizes that Phineas and Ferb were innocent all along and releases them from jail.

The episode ends with the family enjoying a barbecue in the backyard, with Phineas and Ferb once again planning their next big project for the summer.
