Ep 36. The Rivalry Revival

Ash and his friends arrive in a new town and immediately encounter their old rival, Gary Oak. Gary, who has become a Pokémon researcher, challenges Ash to a battle. Eager to prove himself, Ash agrees and the two trainers face off in a fierce battle.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket is also in town and has plans to capture Pikachu. Jessie and James come up with a new scheme that involves using a powerful new robot to capture Pikachu. They sneak into the Pokémon Center where Pikachu is staying and begin their heist.

Back at the battle, Ash and Gary's rivalry heats up as they both pull out their strongest Pokémon. The battle is intense and both trainers give it their all. However, just as the battle seems to be coming to a close, Team Rocket launches their robot and ambushes Ash and Gary.

In the chaos, Pikachu is captured and Ash and his friends are left to try and figure out how to take down Team Rocket's formidable robot. After a fierce battle with Team Rocket, Ash and his friends are able to rescue Pikachu and defeat the robot.

In the end, Ash and Gary come to a mutual understanding and call a truce on their rivalry. They part ways on good terms, with Gary wishing Ash luck in his future battles. Ash and his friends continue on their journey, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.
